I was born in the foggy port city of Saint John, New Brunswick - Canada's oldest city.  

I grew up in a very unconventional but endearing family. This included two eccentric drummers for uncle's, so naturally my love for music began with the wonders of rhythm at a very young age.

 

Most of my earlier life was devoted to all things percussion (or anything that would wake the neighborhood up) but as the years went by, I became more infatuated with the boundlessness of music and started exploring all of the different ways I could express myself further. Somewhere along the line, I picked up a guitar and that's where my relationship with music started to grow more intimately.

 

If you listen closely, you may just hear a few elements from my history. I am a true Maritimer and I

wear that on my sleeve. I am heavily inspired by the enchantment of the east coast and my rhythmic roots.

My objective for writing music is to tell stories about some of the trials I've been through and relate

them with my audience. I like to think of my music as empowering to people as there are lessons

in most songs that I play. I have always relied on songwriting for therapy, I hope that I can share that

experience with anyone who listens.
